Bei der Verarbeitung von Biomasse mit einer Presseinheit, die aus Presswalzen und einer flachen, doppelseitigen Matrize mit radialen Löchern besteht, wird die Biomasse auf eine Temperatur von 95 °C erhitzt, was eine positive antibakterielle Wirkung hat und das Risiko von Pilzen verringert.
Die Lebensdauer der Matrize beträgt 500-600 Betriebsstunden, sofern die Funktionsprinzipien der Geräte und die entsprechende Qualität der Rohstoffe eingehalten werden. Die Pelletmühle sollte regelmäßig gemäß der beigefügten Bedienungsanleitung gewartet werden.
